Singing and celebrating great choral music by sharing it with our community. REHEARSALS: Alternating Monday mornings 8-9 a.m. And Thursdays after school 4-5 p.m. (Detailed schedule available from Mrs. Burkhart). AUDITIONS on Thursdsay, Sept. 19 from 4-5 p.m. OPEN TO ALL ARUNDEL students who like to sing in a more challenging vocal ensemble. Our students will be taking the IReady diagnostic in Language Arts and Math classes this week. Students will take Language arts on the 3rd and 4th of September. Math will occur on the 5th and 6th of September.

The PE/Health teachers will offer a Human Sexuality preview session before back-to-school night. During this session the teachers will review the lessons and resources that are included in the AACPS Health curriculum during this unit. The 6th grade preview session will begin at 5:30pm on September 3rd in the gym. The 7th and 8th grade preview session will begin at 5:30pm on September 4th in the gym. PE uniforms will continue to be on sale to purchase. The cost is $20 for the full uniform or $10 per piece. Students can bring in cash or check (made out to Arundel Middle School). You can also purchase online by going to the school website and click on 'Online School Payments', select Arundel Middle, then select the uniform to purchase. As a reminder, once you are satisfied with your size, please make sure you have your first AND last name written on your shirt and shorts and to bring a lock for the locker room. The first day of dressing for ALL PE/Dance classes will be Thursday, September 5th!
