Good Evening, Bodkin Families,
Below is information pertaining to picture retakes. There is a lot of information to share, however we wanted to make sure you didn’t have any questions unanswered.
Picture Retakes:
Bodkin's picture retake day has been scheduled for Thursday, November 13th. This date is set aside to take pictures of those students who:
1). were absent on the original picture day OR
2). for those who were not satisfied with pictures taken in September.
If you were not happy with the original picture, send in the entire original photo package with your child to return and have his/her picture retaken on November 13th. They will take your child’s picture and refill the same package order. Please remind your child to turn in his/her picture package to his/her teacher that morning so the teacher knows to send your student to the photographer for a retake (you are welcome to send an email to the teacher before picture day of your intentions).
If you paid for a photo package and you never received the photos, call Classic Photography at 1-800-869-9515 x112. Please send in a note indicating that you did not receive them, but you have spoken with Classic and your child’s photo will be retaken. If you are purchasing your pictures for the first time, please remind your student to turn in his/her picture envelopes with payment to his/her teacher that morning so the teacher knows to send your child to the photographer. If your child received photo proofs in October, you will be able to purchase those by following the instructions on the proof form. Those orders will be shipped directly to your home.

Parent/Teacher Conferences:
On November 24th and 25th we invite all families to have a conference with their child’s classroom teacher as well as Cultural Arts teachers. Please look for an email from your child’s teacher to sign up for an open time slot and select your preference for an in person or virtual conference.
Report Cards:
Report cards will be distributed via an email on Monday, November 10th. If there are any issues, please contact the main office.

American Education Week
We will host our Open House on Friday, November 21, 2025. All parents and guardians are welcome to visit our classrooms.
Visitation Hours:
Pre-K to Grade 2 - 8:10-9:10 a.m.
Grades 3 to 5 - 9:20-10:20 a.m.
So that there are no distractions to our lessons, we request our visitors not to bring infants or children in strollers to our school during Open House. Please park in the church lot across the street.
To pre-register your attendance for the open house and speed up the security process upon your arrival, please click on the below link and complete a short form before Thursday, November 20 so that we can have your visitor sticker ready for you. As always, please bring your ID so we may sign you in before you proceed to your student’s class. Doors will open for visitors at 8:00 after we get all of our students into the building.

Santa Saturday:
It’s the most wonderful time of the year - Santa Saturday is coming to Bodkin! Mark your calendars and help spread the word, Saturday, December 6th from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Get ready for a jolly day full of holiday cheer, shopping, and community fun.
Vendor registration is NOW OPEN! $45 per space (8x10)
