Please do not bring outside food (i.e. fast food) to the school to give to students for lunch. Students can pack a lunch and certainly include leftovers, but we don't want deliveries of outside food to the school during lunchtime. This doesn't include bringing your student their lunch box if they forget it.
There is a link to the AACPS grading regulation on the "Students" tab on our website. Please review it as it has information about redos, percentage changes for students receiving an E, and other important guidance for students to understand guidelines related to the turning in of assignments for the quarter.
If you are bringing an item to school that your student has forgotten, please place the item on the cart located at the front door and follow the instructions provided. There is a security camera at the entrance. The secretaries check the cart and will get the item to your student. Please do not call or text your student to let them know the item is here. We want to make the process efficient for visitors to the school. Thanks!

7th graders will exit the bus and stay out front until they are asked to come inside and report to homeroom. If they want breakfast, they will enter by the new cafeteria addition and get it from the cafeteria. In inclement weather, they will enter and sit in the gym.
8th graders will exit the bus and walk the side of the building to enter from the door leading directly to the 8th grade wing. A breakfast cart is available in that wing for them to get breakfast.
Car Riders
6th grade car riders will enter through the side door (look for the fence and door to the right of the portables) and sit in the cafeteria.
7th grade car riders will walk around front and stand until they are asked to come inside. If they want breakfast, they will enter by the new cafeteria addition and get it from the cafeteria. In inclement weather, they will enter the building through the side door and report to the gym.
8th grade car riders will follow the sidewalks around the left of the building by the tennis courts and enter through the exit by the 8th grade wing.
Please review the student drop off and pick up map and directions under the "Announcements" tab. Follow these instructions daily. We do not want cars doing U-turns in the middle of the road. If you enter from 424, you must exit by driving in front of the high school and out to 424 or exit to Underwood. If you enter from Underwood, you must exit onto 424. Please do not park in a parking space. These are for staff who work at the school. Lastly, if you are parked along the road to dismiss, starting at 8:55, your child should exit the vehicle. Cars parked along this road make it unsafe for students and staff.
