The Early College Access Program is a joint program between Anne Arundel County Public Schools and Anne Arundel Community College. ECAP allows AACPS students to take college classes while still in high school, for FREE! Earn college credits and get a head start on your college or career journey. AVID is an academic, elective program designed to provide support for students in the “academic middle." AVID prepares students to enter and be successful in college through career and college exploration. From middle school through high school graduation, students apply the principles and strategies of AVID to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
