Principal’s Message

Spring has sprung! We are looking forward to some sunshine and spring flowers! MCAP testing info will be coming soon for grades 3-5.

We celebrate Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Parrella at the Central Chamber of Commerce awards gala for teacher and support assistant award! Such a deserving award for two dedicated Sharks.

We applied and were selected to have Ava Marie, WBAL meteorologist, visit April 2 with third grade to share weather information! How cool!

As a reminder, since we are getting warmer weather, students cannot show bare skin between upper chest and mid-thigh. Please ensure students are wearing appropriate clothing to school. Central office will turn on the air conditioning in April.

We wish to express our gratitude to those students who consistently uphold the code of conduct, report inappropriate behavior, and advocate for a positive and respectful learning environment. Please review school expectations with your student. We value the collaboration between home and school and appreciate your efforts to maintain a high standard of behavior among our students.

Please utilize MyPaymentsPlus (https://www.mypaymentsplus.com) to make payments for lunch accounts with an overdue balance.

Please be sure to keep yourself updated with the redistricting information: https://www.aacps.org/page/redistricting-process-phase-2

Important Notice

Please remember to always bring your ID when picking up students, visiting, volunteering, chaperoning, and when attending any parent/teacher conference.

School Lunch Menus

view the upcoming school meals menu

Due to supply shortages, substitutions to the menu may occur.

Please find additional information about Food and Nutrition Services at: https://aacpsschools.org/nutrition/

If your child wants to buy an extra milk (55 cents), juice (50 cents), or bottle of water ($1) when they go through the cafeteria line, there has to be money in their general account. You can either send in a check made out to "Four Seasons Elementary School" with your child's student identification number (SIF) and "general account" in the memo line, or add money to your MyPaymentsPlus account and specify "general account."

Recommendation from AACPS - if you would like your child to purchase meals only, deposit funds in the meal account. If you would like your child to purchase meals plus additional items, deposit funds in the general account only.

If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Shank at bshank@aacps.org.

February Award for Kindness and Collaboration

Mo Gaba graphic for April 2025 newsletter

AACPS schools remember student Mo Gaba in January each year, for his spirit of positivity and perseverance in the face of great adversity. Four Seasons has chosen to extend this to a monthly recognition based on our SHARK behavior expectations. Each month, a student from each class will be recognized for that month’s behavior expectation.

Notes from the Nurse...

Greetings from the Health Room!

Just a few reminders:

  • Please keep your child home if they are sick. If your child has a fever of 100 degrees F or greater, they must stay home until they are fever-free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication.

  • Please provide a seasonally appropriate change of clothes for your child to keep at school. This is helpful for all ages because mud and spills happen!

  • Please be on the lookout for a reminder notice for those students who still need a completed Record of Physical Examination and Blood Lead Testing Certificate. Both forms are required when enrolling your child in school. You will only receive notice if we do not have a physical form and/or blood lead results on file.

  • The Record of Physical Examination has two sides: one for the parent/guardian to complete and one for the physician to complete. Both sides are required. The information from your child’s most recent annual exam is accepted - no need to make a new appointment.

  • The blood lead form is to be signed by your child’s physician. Please return all completed forms to the health room.

Thank you!

OSP Online School Payments

Online School Payments (OSP)

Four Seasons offers a convenient way to pay for school items electronically. It’s called Online School Payments (OSP) and will allow families to pay by credit card for things such as field trips and lost media books. We also have options to allow you to donate to support special activities for students or to donate to allow the principal to “treat” our staff. Please note that there is a small service charge for using the OSP system. Cash and checks made payable to Four Seasons Elementary School are always accepted for student fees with no service fee. If you have any questions regarding the OSP system, please contact Erika Allen at eallen@aacps.org or
410-222-6501. To access OSP, please click on this link: Four Seasons OSP.

Notice: Four Seasons Elementary School is equipped with a video camera system. It covers selected interior and exterior public portions of the building and grounds. It is not monitored constantly, but it is monitored during emergency situations. During certain events, when the safety or security of students may be in question, authorized personnel from local, state or federal police or fire emergency units may be given access to view images projected on the camera system. If you have any questions about the system, you should call the Supervisor of School Security at
410-222-5083.
