Principal’s Message

We have so much to be thankful for in our school community. Your support for school and children makes Four Seasons a wonderful learning environment. As we move into the fall and winter, may your time together be filled with laughter, fun, and cherished memories! We’d like to also take the opportunity to thank our veterans. Thank you for your service! We had a wonderful Book Fair. Thank you to Mrs. Shelby and Mrs. Weiss for their hard work. Thank you to the volunteers that helped make it a success. PTA had milk and cookies for the event as well. What a great night!

We launched Best Buddies this year. Thank you to all the students and staff that helped to kick off this great program. The STAIR program has also launched. Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers that support our students. We continue to recognize Mo Gaba through our actions. Each quarter has a new focus. Starting November 3, we will recognize students for being hardworking and accountable. Go, SHARKS!

We welcome Mrs. Kristin Addleman as the new Acting Principal at Four Seasons Elementary. Thank you for the best 14 years of my career. I wish all of you the best moving forward, and I know I will continue to hear great things about the Four Seasons students and community.

Notes from the Nurse...

Important Health Room Reminders

  • Medication at School: If your child requires medication during school hours, both parent and doctor must complete the required medication forms. These forms are available online and in the health room. We cannot administer any medication without them. Please contact us by phone or email if you have questions.

  • Fever Policy: Children with a fever must stay home until they are fever-free for 24 hours without medication. If your child is sent home due to a fever, they must remain home the following day. Once they’ve had a full day fever-free without medication, they may return to school.

  • Sick Student Pickup: If your child is sick at school, please arrange for pickup within 30 minutes. If you’re unavailable, have a backup plan in place (e.g., grandparent, relative, neighbor). We appreciate your understanding, as space in the health room is limited.

  • Vaccination Records: If your child receives any new vaccines, please send in an updated vaccination record so we can keep their health file current.

  • Change of Clothes: Please ensure your child has a season-appropriate change of clothes in their locker. Even older students may need a spare outfit in case of spills or accidents.

Maryland SUN Bucks

Maryland SUN Bucks helps families with school-aged children who receive free or reduced-price meals buy groceries during the summer break when school meals are unavailable. Many AACPS families are enrolled to receive these benefits but have not yet accessed them. SUN Bucks benefits will expire 122 days after issuance, which means that June benefits will begin expiring in October. If you have specific questions, please contact the Maryland Department of Human Services (DHS) office at 1-800-332-6347 and select the SUN Bucks option.

Federal Impact Program Survey

Parents who are active military or who live or work on federal property in Maryland are asked to complete this year’s Federal Impact Aid Survey when it becomes available on September 30, 2025.

You will be asked to verify your home address and identify if it is located on federal property. You will also complete sections identifying if a family member is in the military or works on federally owned property in Maryland. The survey should only take a couple of minutes to complete. Please be assured that all data collected is kept completely confidential.

Why Complete This Survey

Anne Arundel County Public Schools, like many local school districts across the United States, include within our boundaries parcels of land that are owned by the federal government or that have been removed from the local tax rolls by the federal government.

Federal property is exempt from local property taxes. By submitting an application to the Department of Education each January, AACPS receives approximately $2 million to assist in educating all our students.

OSP Online School Payments

Online School Payments (OSP)

Four Seasons offers a convenient way to pay for school items electronically. It’s called Online School Payments (OSP) and will allow families to pay by credit card for things such as field trips and lost media books. We also have options to allow you to donate to support special activities for students or to donate to allow the principal to “treat” our staff. Please note that there is a small service charge for using the OSP system. Cash and checks made payable to Four Seasons Elementary School are always accepted for student fees with no service fee. If you have any questions regarding the OSP system, please contact Erika Allen at eallen@aacps.org or
410-222-6501. To access OSP, please click on this link: Four Seasons OSP.

Notice: Four Seasons Elementary School is equipped with a video camera system. It covers selected interior and exterior public portions of the building and grounds. It is not monitored constantly, but it is monitored during emergency situations. During certain events, when the safety or security of students may be in question, authorized personnel from local, state or federal police or fire emergency units may be given access to view images projected on the camera system. If you have any questions about the system, please call the Supervisor of School Security at 410-222-5083.
