Park Elementary School

 December/Diciembre

Dear Park Families,

It’s hard to believe we are already entering the month of December—the school year is truly speeding by! As we move into this busy season, we want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of student attendance. Every day in class matters, and consistent attendance helps students stay connected, engaged, and successful.

✨ Exciting News!  On Monday, December 1, students will be introduced to a brand-new attendance incentive featuring none other than Park’s very own Mr. Clean. This fun initiative is designed to motivate students to be present and on time, while adding a little extra school spirit to the month ahead.

✨To foster a culture of consistent attendance and to highlight the importance of regular school attendance, Anne Arundel County Public Schools is launching a districtwide attendance competition during the month of December. This initiative aims to encourage students to attend school regularly, thereby enhancing their academic performance and overall well-being. The competition will occur during the entire month of December 2025. Students attending at least 14/15 days during the month of December will receive an individual student award.

We look forward to seeing our students continue to shine as we wrap up the calendar year together. Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us make attendance a priority.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Pannebaker, Principal
