 Attendance is a critical part of student success.   Students who attend school regularly benefit the most from their educational experience and may maximize their potential for success in school and in the future.   When students are frequently absent or arrive late to school, they miss valuable instructional time.  If our team can help your family with regular attendance, please contact the school at (410) 582-4900.

As we return to school, our Boosterthon fundraiser (The Southgate Tiger Two-Step) is planned to kick-off on January 9th. ALL students are invited! Register your student TODAY on www.mybooster.com. They’ll earn a free gift & you’ll get access to all the fun features to share and donate toward our school goal of $10,000 for student incentives and programs, as well as recess equipment.

As the weather turns colder, we would like to remind parents to have their students sent to school with coats, hats and gloves. We will go outside if the "feels like" temperature is above 32 degrees.

Should your child need to be picked up for an early dismissal by someone other than a parent/guardian, please send in a note specifying who will be picking up the child from school. Please understand your child will not be called for dismissal until the adult arrives in the building.

ID is required for everyone when picking up a student.

All dismissals need to occur before 2:00 p.m.
