Windsor's Summer Update

Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year

Meet our New Teachers

Welcome back to another exciting school year at Windsor Farm Elementary! We are thrilled to open our doors once again and can't wait to see the bright smiles and eager minds of our students. This year, we’re especially excited to introduce our wonderful new teachers and staff who are ready to make a positive impact in our school community. Here's to a year filled with learning, growth, and joyful memories!

Stephanie Pollock

Mrs. Pollock - Art

Stephanie Pollock is thrilled to be joining Windsor Farm as the Art Teacher! She has taught art at different AACPS schools including Mayo Elementary & Belvedere Elementary and has her Master of Art Education from Towson University. After taking a short break from teaching to pursue her own studio art adventure and be home with her family, Mrs. Pollock returned this past school year at Piney Orchard Elementary. When she’s not in the art classroom, she enjoys gardening and doing yardwork with her husband, attending her son’s soccer games (ages 9 & 12), and hanging out with her two mixed-breed rescue dogs. Mrs. Pollock loves helping her art students explore a variety of art mediums and expand on topics they are learning in the classroom. As an Arnold resident, she can’t wait to settle in at Windsor Farm and get to know all the creative students in the community!

Hanna Walker-Greenbaum

Ms. Greenbaum - Pre-K

Hanna Walker-Greenbaum is excited to join the Windsor Farm team as a Pre-K teacher. She has been teaching with AACPS for 8 years, most recently teaching Pre-K 3 at Annapolis Elementary. She brings a passion for early childhood education and is excited to help create a positive and nurturing school experience for our Pre-K students. Outside of school, Ms. Greenbaum enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time with her husband and their two dogs.

Joy Thelan

Ms. Telan - Pre-K Teaching Assistant

Joy Stephanie Telan is thrilled to begin her first year at Windsor Farm after two years in a Pre-K classroom. She’s currently studying education at Anne Arundel Community College, aiming to become a classroom teacher by 2026. Arrival & Dismissal

School Bus

Bus Riders – If your child will be riding the bus, we highly encourage them to begin using it on the first morning of school. As students exit the bus that morning, staff will be “tagging” their backpacks with colored bands. These bands will help ensure each student boards the correct bus at dismissal, especially as we all adjust to new bus numbers, drivers, and routines.

Bus Routes/Numbers will be available to view here when finalized -
www.aacps.org/o/aacps/page/bus-information

Car Riders – NEW FOR THIS YEAR – The Morning Drop-Off window will be 7:40 to 7:55 AM. Any student arriving after 8:00 AM must be signed in by an adult at the main office.

Drop-off procedures will remain the same as last year. Car riders should use the two loops located at the front of the building and the main parking area. For students who may need extra assistance, we recommend using the loop closest to the school building, where staff will be available to help with seat belts and car doors. Please do not park in either of the lanes so the flow of drop-off is not interrupted.

Afternoon Dismissal – Dismissal will begin at 2:25 PM. Families picking up their children will continue to use the car tag number system in the lower loop. Car tags will be assigned during Sneak-a-Peek and throughout the first few days of school. As you enter the property, please proceed to the lower loop and follow staff directions to ensure a smooth and safe pick-up process. Buses will use the upper loop, and no car traffic should enter this area during dismissal.

Student Attendance

We all understand occasional illnesses will occur which will require a student to miss a few days of school throughout the year. When a student has a fever of 100.4 degrees or greater, is vomiting, or has diarrhea, please keep your child at home. We also understand there are other reasons to be absent from school – a death in the family, an extended weekend, the occasional family trip, or for religious reasons. However, there is a strong correlation between a student’s attendance and their academic success, so we all need to encourage the daily and consistent attendance of our young learners.

This year we will be continuing to place an emphasis on the importance of daily attendance, specifically to reduce the number of students who are considered chronically absent. Students who are identified as chronically absent have a cumulative total of 18 or more days absent from school during the school year, approximately two days per month, (this includes excused and unexcused absences).

Be an Attendance HERO - Here in school, Every day, Ready to learn, On time!
