| Preparing for a Potential Virtual Instruction Day |
Maryland school systems are required to use their first three built‑in snow days before switching to a Virtual Instruction Day. This means that a virtual day would begin on our fourth inclement weather day. Based on the current forecast, our first potential Virtual Instruction Day is Thursday, January 29.
If Anne Arundel County Public Schools announces a Virtual Instruction Day, please use the links below to access your child’s virtual classroom. Students may join using any available device, but it is essential that they are logged into Google Chrome with their AACPS credentials: Login Information:
Username: StudentIDNumber@AACPS.org Password (Date of Birth): yyyymmdd
One of the most common technology issues occurs when a parent is logged into Google Chrome on a personal device. Please be sure your child signs out of any personal accounts and signs in with their AACPS username and password to avoid access issues.
The links below are provided to help ensure a smooth and positive virtual learning experience. If you need assistance, we are here to help. Please call 410‑626‑8547 or email your child’s teacher with any questions. |

Each year on January 26, Anne Arundel County Public Schools celebrates Mo Gaba Day in honor of Mossila “Mo” Gaba — a beloved AACPS student and Baltimore sports superfan whose courage, positivity, and unforgettable laughter inspired people across Maryland. Despite battling cancer from a young age, Mo radiated joy, kindness, and perseverance, becoming a symbol of hope for our community. Students and staff across AACPS honor his legacy by wearing purple and orange, sharing his story, and spreading the positivity that Mo modeled every day

This month, students received a page of reading raffle tickets to be filled out for each book they read at home. Students can place their completed tickets in the raffle box outside the media center. Mrs. Weakley will draw names from the raffle box on the morning announcements each week, and the winning students get to choose a prize! Thank you for helping us build a love for reading in and out of the school building. |
