Early Dismissal

Tuesday is our first Unity Day of the 2025-2026 school year. On each Unity Day, students are encouraged to wear the color Orange to show they stand for kindness, acceptance, and the inclusion of all!

This also brings our first 2-hour early dismissal day of the school year so our teachers can participate in Professional Development centered around meeting the needs of all learners inside our classrooms. Student dismissal will begin at 12:25.

Safe Routes to School

Windsor Farm Elementary School is working with Anne Arundel County to make walking and bicycling to school feasible and safer for our students. To do this, their project team will be observing arrival and dismissal at the school on October 14, 2025. During the school day, they will be performing an assessment of the community surrounding the school to identify areas that need improvement and where adding or upgrading infrastructure for walking and biking might support establishment of a walk zone. We share this with you for two reasons. 1) If you see the project team in reflective vests around the school and surrounding neighborhoods, you understand why they are here, and 2) we will be sending a survey to you in the near future, and we ask that when you receive it, you respond. It is a short survey and will provide feedback to make your child's trip to school safer and more flexible with potential walking/biking options. In the spring, we will be once again asking for your feedback on proposed recommendations associated with the study. If you have any questions regarding the study, please contact Adam Greenstein by phone at 443-569-9587 or by email at adam.greenstein@aacounty.org.

Kids in costumes

Mark your Calendars

Our annual Halloween Parade will be held on
Friday, October 31st at 1:15pm.

Families are invited to be spectators along the parade route. Please note, if the parade is moved indoors because of inclement weather, we will unfortunately not be able to accommodate guests/spectators.

When planning Halloween costumes, please ensure students can put them on independently or are comfortable enough to be worn throughout the school day and are free of weapons and violent imagery. We will have alternate activities for students who do not wish to participate in the parade and/or class parties. Mrs. Sokol and Mrs. Pollock will be providing these students with fall-themed crafts.
