Reminders & Notes of Interest

Congratulations to Kathy Hogan –
AACPS November Volunteer of the Month!

We are thrilled to celebrate Kathy Hogan, who has been named AACPS Volunteer of the Month for November! Mrs. Hogan dedicates countless hours to supporting our Windsor Farm students, staff, and PTO. From leading small groups to support learning to lending a helping hand wherever needed, her commitment and enthusiasm make a tremendous impact on our school community. We are forever grateful for her generosity of time, her positive spirit, and the love she pours into Windsor Farm. Thank you, Mrs. Hogan, for making Windsor Farm a brighter, better place for all!

In honor of Veterans Day, we would like to invite veterans who are family members or friends of our students to come in and guest read in our classrooms on Tuesday, November 11th.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to hear from and honor those who have served our country. Guest readers can bring a favorite book to share or choose from one we provide. (We are looking for children's books about military, veterans, patriotism, etc.)

If you or someone you know is interested, please check the sign-up genius link here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090849A5AF2BA7FB6-60274642-veterans

Thank you for helping us celebrate and recognize the service and sacrifice of our veterans!

If your family has been affected by the ongoing federal government furlough, your child may be eligible for Free and Reduced-Price Meals. Families can apply or reapply through the Meal Benefit Application (MBA) to see if they qualify.

Visit the AACPS Meal Benefit Application to complete the process online.

Picture Day Make-ups

Our Fall Picture Day Make-ups is scheduled for Friday. Classic Photography will be photographing new students, students who were absent on the original picture day, and any student whose parents are requesting a retake.

If you would like your child’s picture retaken, please send the original photo package on Friday, including the envelope and all picture products. These will be turned in to the photographer when your child sits for a new photo. No new order form is needed.

To access the order form for picture packages, please click here.
