Reminders & Notes of Interest

MCAP Testing

Students in grades 3-5 will be participating in eight sessions of the Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program (MCAP) – 4 sessions in Math and 4 sessions in English/Language Arts. At Windsor Farm, these sessions are scheduled during April and May. See below for a complete schedule.

·      Testing is scheduled to begin at 8:15 each morning on our scheduled testing days. You can help your student do their best by ensuring they get a good night’s sleep, have something to eat in the morning, and arrive to school on time. Students who arrive after the testing session has begun will need to wait in the office until the session ends and will be scheduled for a make-up session at another time.

·      School Lunch Hero Day is Friday!  This annual observance is a chance to showcase what a difference school nutrition professionals make in the lives of every child who comes through the cafeteria lunch line. Thank you to Mrs. Stone and Mrs. Veno for their tireless efforts in our cafeteria kitchen!

Mr. Kling

We’re thrilled to share that two of our talented fifth graders have made it to the semi-finals in the 2025 Mother’s Day Jewelry Design Contest, hosted by Zachary’s Jewelers of Annapolis!

Jack L. and Neil J. impressed the judges with their creativity and heartfelt designs. This annual contest gives students the chance to honor their mothers or caregivers, and the top three winners will have their designs turned into actual pieces of jewelry!

A huge shout-out from Mr. Kling to Jack and Neil for this incredible achievement! 🦅

Winners will be announced during a special event on Sunday, May 4th—stay tuned and good luck to our semi-finalists!
