Scholastic Bookfair

The Scholastic Book Fair will be here from December 2-6 (the week after Thanksgiving break)! Flyers will be distributed by Mrs. Brockman next week. Families will have the ability to shop the fair together on December 4 during Season’s Readings from 6-8 p.m. All the information – when your student is going, how to set up an eWallet, and more can be found at www.windsorfarmpto.com/bookfair

Please take a look at the volunteer opportunities below and reach out if you would like to help!

Volunteer Opportunities

WFES Sponsorships/Donors Coordinator

This volunteer would reach out to businesses to get donations for events and activities

Having a sponsorship/donors coordinator would reduce the need for donations from our families and fundraising

Committee chairs would identify needs and then send them to the coordinator. The coordinator would then try to source the item(s).

This is a much-needed position to reduce operational costs. If you are interested, please email becca@windsorfarmpto.com

WFES Pre-K Helper

Mrs. Ward would like assistance from 11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. daily to assist in the classroom when her aide is at lunch

This could be the same person each day or this opportunity could be filled by multiple volunteers.

Please email Mrs. Ward at cward@aacps.org if you can help!

SRMS International Night

Severn River Middle School hosts a cluster-wide International Night in March. They are looking for 1-2 volunteers from each feeder school

Duties would include:

  • Attend planning meetings leading up to the event

  • Act as liaison for their school to disburse information

  • Identify an area of the event to focus on (marketing, sponsorships, community outreach to businesses that would like a table that fits the theme, distribute lists to identify volunteers for different tables, etc.)

  • Be present on the day of the event to set up as well as answer questions for participants.

Please email the chair, Michele Logan, at mklogan0110@gmail.com if you are able to assist.
